SALLI RICHARDSON - WHITFIELD

SALLI RICHARDSON-WHITFIELD is an industry veteran of over 30 years. With her roots in acting, she has successfully branched into directing. She directed episodes of the Syfy hit, “Eureka” and most recently was accepted into the SONY diversity program for directing. Mrs. Richardson Whitfield conceived and directed the short, “Grace”. She enlisted the writing skills of Ms. Ava DuVernay (DuVernay wrote and directed “Middle of Nowhere”, which won her Best Director honors at Sundance). The film was selected in festivals across the US. Mrs. Richardson Whitfield also went on to direct the gritty pilot presentation, “Four Corners”. The tale of a young basketball phenom who discovers that the perils of success are just as dangerous as the mean streets. She has earned the gift of longevity and will continue to grow and expand her medal in the entertainment industry. Mrs. Richardson Whitfield is a wife and mother who participates in countless charitable and philanthropic events annually as well; The K.I.S. foundation and Kids in the Spotlight. Richardson-Whitfield recently directed 2 episodes of Ava DuVernay’s Queen Sugar, & will soon be directing an episode of the Freeform drama series Shadowhunters and the WGN show, Underground
